All told we reached millions of people across the country, including Virginia, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Florida, Minnesota, Georgia, and many other states 🚀
As someone who voted way early in late September, I felt a sense of dread and panic not being able to do anything else. So, with zero experience, I started brainstorming, reaching out, and pushing through the imposter syndrome. From my couch.
Magical things happened. Posting in order of my involvement to capture everything for future me’s horrible memory:
1️⃣ #StillWeVote, a powerful video and call to action for the LGBTQ+ community. Always a dream working with the capitalpridedc team. Worked on the video, producing, script and digital strategy.
2️⃣ “Your Vote Matters” ashleyboalchdarby x Ira of VoteSaveAmerica, a conversation on racial justice, why you need to vote, and why vote for Joe Biden reaching new audiences from LA to Potomac just days before the election. Developed the idea, pitched everyone involved, produced, and wrote the outline for the conversation. VSA registered 270,000 voters, made over 11 million calls, and sent over 10 million texts nationally.
3️⃣ + 4️⃣ Cast of rupaulsdragrace S12 GOTV. What started as a Twitter thread became more than I could have ever imagined. Especially loved Jaida, Gigi, Heidi & Crystal.
5️⃣ #VoteWithPride, centering the LGBTQ+ community in partnership with headcountorg which turned out the largest youth vote in history (thank you emily_k_gibbs for being a rockstar).
6️⃣ Nene Leakes, encouraging the legend to activate her reads politically.
7️⃣ The first ever National voteearlyday. Over 100 million people voted early breaking history.
7️⃣.5️⃣ Snuck in to virtual Happy Hour by Bravo event to plug voting and guide GOTV conversations shared by your Bravolebrities from the Toms in LA to Salt Lake City (skipping this Zoom pic).
8️⃣ PowerthePolls, registering historic numbers of young, new poll workers... ever (over 700,000)!
And I actually had nothing to do with these two, but loved them so much I had to share.
