The Capital Pride Alliance fulfills its mission with the help of a volunteer team serving year-round or as one of over hundreds of on-site general volunteers.

We believe that Pride is more than any single event, it is a commitment that we make all year long. Our team works to create inclusive events, thought provoking programs, and long-lasting partnerships that celebrate our collective accomplishments, diversity, and resilience.

Consider volunteering at an event or serving on a production team or committee. If you are interested in a leadership role, consider applying to be a committee co-chair or event executive producer.

Become a Co-Chair or Executive Producer

We are seeking experienced volunteers who want to take on a leadership role. Positions with the highest level of commitment include serving as a co-chair of a committee or as an executive producer of an event or program. If you are looking for a leadership role with less of a time commitment, consider the producer role of an event.

We are seeking experienced volunteers who are skilled and passionate in planning large-scale events and educational programs, fundraising, providing outreach and advocacy, and in uplifting the organizations, small businesses, and members of our diverse LGBTQ+ community.
