Out Brigade

In celebration of LGBTQ+ History Month and National Coming Out Day, we are proud to announce the first ever Capital Pride Out Brigade! This exciting, one-of-a-kind event will take place in lieu of this year’s traditional parade, and we’re inviting you, your colleagues, family, and friends to celebrate with us by creating and decorating your own Pridemobiles, as we collectively traverse through the Nation’s Capital, stopping by checkpoints in all 8 wards to show our unwavering pride, and send a reminder that #StillWeVote.

Automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, scooters, and individuals are all permitted types of Pridemobiles, and participants are encouraged to use their creativity to display their pride with lively banners, flags, costumes, and decorations! Participants that check-in at all locations, along with the best decorated Pridemobiles in each category will be eligible to win exciting prizes. Participants are also encouraged to form a team with up to five vehicles to create their own Pride caravans.
