Are LGBT+ and thinking about moving into a nursing home, assisted living facility, or CCRC in DC?

If so, Capitol Hill Village wants you to join us on July 22nd for “Let’s Talk LGBT Rights: Long-Term Care In DC”. We are hosting a hybrid info session with the DC Office of Human Rights focusing on DC Law 23-154: Care for LGBTQ Seniors and Seniors with HIV Amendment Act of 2020.

This session will include information about:

  • DC Law 23-154
  • OHR’s role enforcing DC Law 23-154
  • Tools to file a complaint
  • Situations/examples of when you are protected and what to do
  • You will also have the opportunity for a facilitated Q and A with OHR representatives!

For folks attending in person, this event is taking place at the MLK Jr Library Branch (901 G Street NW) in conference room 401E. Those attending online will receive a zoom link. When you register, please include in the notes section if you are participating via Zoom or in person! Any questions or concerns can be directed to Sophia Ross at [email protected] or call 202-543-1778.
