In lieu of traditional Pride events last summer and the likelihood that Pride 2021 will also look much different, nevertheless #StillWe have pride. These challenging times require us to modify our actions and programming in the fight for full freedom and equality. Although summer of 2020 certainly did not turn out the way that anyone at Capital Pride expected, we still loved celebrating Pride with you virtually through our #StillWe Pride events. To continue honoring our LGBTQ+ community, we have an opportunity for you to help shape the future of our annual celebrations.
Attached to this email is a Pride Economic Impact Survey that we are asking you to complete. It will help ensure that our community has the resources necessary for when we are able to gather again in large crowds to show our pride. Your participation will measure the impact that you have on our community by attending Capital Pride and it will also help make Pride bigger, better, and more accessible and inclusive to all.
The results of this anonymous survey will be used solely by the Capital Pride Alliance to demonstrate the impact that Pride has on the National Capital Region. Whether you’ve been an enthusiastic attendee, dedicated volunteer, or general supporter of Capital Pride and the LGBTQ+ community, we thank you and hope that you consider this opportunity to support the future of Pride in the National Capital Region.
