From the very start, volunteers have played a vital role in the success of Pride each year. Volunteering is an opportunity to meet new people, share new experiences, and give back to your community. Plus, it’s just plain fun! There’s nothing like walking through the Pride Parade as a volunteer, working behind the scenes at the Festival and Concert, welcoming someone to Capital Trans Pride, and supporting those who are experiencing their first Pride.

All year long we are engaged in planning events, conferences and gatherings, and supporting our LGBTQ+ community partner organizations. It really takes a team effort to produce all of our Capital Pride Alliance events. From the Pride Reveal to Capital Trans Pride, Music in the Night, and the annual Celebration, including the Pride Parade and Festival, we are busy year ’round creating spaces for the LGBTQ+ community.
