The Capital Pride Alliance Announces New Senior Leadership
Washington, DC (November 20, 2025) – The Capital Pride Alliance (CPA) today announced the election of the new members of its Executive Committee. Following a strategic update to its bylaws, CPA will enter 2026 with a Board Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary leading the Board of Directors, replacing the previous President and Vice President structure. An additional update to the leadership structure includes a change in title for Ryan Bos, who will now serve as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of the Capital Pride Alliance. In addition to this change, June Crenshaw will continue in her role as Deputy Director, providing continuity and support during this period of organizational transition.
The incoming Executive Committee makes history as the first in the organization’s existence to be led entirely by women.
The new officers include:
- Anna Jinkerson (Chair): Elected by the Board of Directors to serve a full term, Jinkerson previously served as Vice President for Operations and Acting President. A seasoned non-profit executive, she currently serves as Assistant to the President and CEO and Chief of Staff at Living Cities, a national member collaborative of leading philanthropic foundations and financial institutions committed to closing income and wealth gaps in the United States and building an economy that works for everyone. She joined the CPA board in 2022.
- Kim Baker (Treasurer): A biracial Filipino-American and queer leader, Kim is a retired, disabled U.S. Army veteran with more than 20 years of service and extensive experience in finance, security, and risk management. She has served on the CPA Board since 2018, bringing a proven track record of steady, principled leadership and unwavering dedication to the LGBTQ+ community. Kim is committed to strengthening financial transparency, integrity, and long-term sustainability across the organization, while championing strong stewardship and advocacy for marginalized voices.
- Taylor Lianne Chandler (Secretary): A former sign language interpreter and crisis management consultant, Chandler takes office as the first intersex and trans-identifying member of the Executive Committee. Chandler joined the Capital Pride Board in 2019, previously serving as an Executive Producer from 2016-2019.
“Being the first woman to chair the Capital Pride Alliance, I know the importance of lifting voices in our community who don’t often have one,” said Anna Jinkerson, Board Chair. “Leading this board over the next couple of years will be about strengthening our collective action.”
The new Executive Committee officially takes office in December. They succeed the previous leadership team, including Ashley Smith, who served eight years as President; Anthony Musa, who served seven years as Vice President of Board Engagement; Natalie Thompson, who served eight years on the Executive Committee, most recently as Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; and Vince Micone, who served for eight years as Vice President for Operations prior to Anna taking on this role.
“I am grateful for the leadership, dedication, and commitment shown by our former Executive Officers—Ashley, Natalie, Anthony, and Vince—who have been instrumental in CPA’s growth and the exceptional success of WorldPride 2025,” said Ryan Bos, CEO of CPA. “I look forward to collaborating with Anna in her new role, as well as Kim and Taylor in theirs, as we take on the important work ahead, prepare for Capital Pride 2026, and expand our platform and voice through Pride365.”
