Storytelling & Reflection - World AIDS Day 2021

Mayor Muriel Bowser, the Office of LGBTQ Affairs, and SERVE DC present Reflection & Storytelling – World AIDS Day 2021

About this event

For 2021 World AIDS Day, the theme is Ending the HIV Epidemic: Equitable Access, Everyone’s Voice. It is a time to come together to celebrate our diversity and fight the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS.

Join the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs and Mayor’s Office of Volunteerism and Partnerships as we listen to stories and enjoy performances from the perspective of those impacted by HIV/AIDS.

Also, learn more about testing, treatment, and resources for those living with HIV/AIDS from local community-based organizations and DC Government Agencies.

Our partners:

Us Helping Us People Into Living Inc., HIPS DC, Washington AIDS Partnership, DC Health, Brave Soul, Capital Pride Alliance, The DC Center,  Collective, Serve DC, Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs, Mayor’s Office on Women’s Policy & Initiatives, Mayor’s Office of African Affairs, Mayor’s Office of Religious Affairs and Mayor’s Office of African American Affairs.
