Pride and Unity DC Quad Roll OUT skate

DC’s Mega Quad RollOUT for Summer! June is 🌈Pride Month and we will also be expressing ✊🏿 unity as we roll through the streets together.

This DC skate route is designed for Quad and beginner inline skaters! Not too many hills, and more good pavement than bad, 5-6 miles total.

We will visit the 🌈LOVE mural in Blagden Alley,  The African American Civil War Memorial✊🏿, stop for juice & snacks at a black-owned business (Turning Natural),  Skate the U Street Historic District✊🏿, 16th street tunnel, visit  BLM plaza ✊🏿, and ending point at a fun bar and resturaunt near 🌈 Dupont Circle (1633 P Street, NW).

Route Map: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=7590726

Dress to Express Yourself! Pride 🌈 & ✊🏿 Unity gear encouraged

We will reschedule if the ground is not dry.

Inclusive event – All skaters welcome and encouraged (quad, inline, longboard, & bikes too)

Parking & Transit: Free pandemic parking has ended. There are paid garages and metered spaces alongside Freedom Plaza. Free parking can still be had in East Potomac Park. Ⓜ Metro is a good option + No charge for weekend parking at suburban stations.

Safety: We will be following CDC guidelines. Please be respectful of one another’s space and keep physical distance if you have not been inoculated. Pads & Helmets are also suggested.
