2022 marks the 47th Anniversary of Pride in Washington, DC, and we are planning our biggest yet. In 2019, we welcomed over 600,000 guests to the Capital Pride Celebration, including the Pride Parade, Festival, and Concert. We bring people from all over the country and throughout the world to Washington, DC.
We seek support from advocates who affirm and support our unique message of educating and celebrating the diversity of our community, challenging discrimination, and working toward full equality for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families.

The Capital Pride Alliance, through its stewardship of diverse programming and events, specifically year-round LGBTQ+ Pride festivities centered in Washington, DC and the National Capital Region, serves to celebrate, educate, support, and inspire our multi-faceted communities in order to grow and preserve our history and protect our rights for current and future generations.
