The 2020 Capital Pride Celebration will mark 45 years of Pride in the Nation’s Capital. Join us as we celebrate, educate, and inspire one another during this momentous time in our history. You’re invited to make yourselves visible, to stand up, and to experience the diversity, culture, and resilience that make Washington D.C. so distinctive.
The Capital Pride Celebration scheduled to take place June 5 – June 14, 2020 has been postponed. We will collaborate with all the agencies and our partner Prides to identify new dates and potentially new ways that our community can come together in Pride. New dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
We encourage you to still register to participate in the Capital Pride Parade and Pride Festival. The Capital Pride Alliance will offer free ad space in the online only Pride Guide, to support local small businesses that have been supportive of our LGBTQ+ community, and will create a virtual Pride exhibition, for all the registered organizations, businesses, and advocates.
