The DC Public Library and the Latino GLBT History Project (LHP) present “Queer Brown Voices: Personal Narratives of Latina/o LGBTQ Activism”. Join us for a discussion featuring Lisbeth Melendez Rivera, Director of Latina/o and Catholic Initiatives at Human Rights Campaign; Letitia Gomez Co-editor of Queer Brown Voices, Co-founder and Executive Director of LLEGO the first national Latina/o LGBT organization; Jose Gutierrez Founder of the Latino GLBT History Project, the DC Latinx Pride and co-founder of the Rainbow History Project and Moises Agosto, Director of treatment Education Adherence and Mobilization at National Minority AIDS Council and member of the 80’s generation poets of Puerto Rico. Thank you very much to Gabi Kim Huesca, Library Associate and David Quick, Adult Services Coordinator at the DC Public Library and the Board of Directors of the Latino GLBT History Project.
