Latinx LGBTQ+ History Tour

Capital Pride Alliance, the Latino GLBT History Project and the Empodérate Youth Center of La Clinica del Pueblo cordially invite you to the Latinx LGBTQ+ History Tour, join historian and board member Jose Gutierrez in this educational, bilingual and free walking tour. We will gather Sunday, June 2 at 3pm on Adams Morgan, outside the SunTrust bank on the corner of Columbia Rd and 18th St. NW , Washington, DC.
The walking tour highlights: Salud Inc. one of the first DC Latino HIV/AIDS organizations, El Faro the first DC Latinx LGBTQ bar, Bar Noa Noa, Restaurant Perry’s, Restaurant El Migueleno, Empodérate Youth Center of La Clinica del Pueblo, Restaurant Haydees, the 1991 DC Latino Riots, LCDP, Casa de la Cultura, Latin American Youth Center and will finish at the Columbia Heights Metro.
