Contingent Information.
The annual Capital Pride Parade steps off on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 4:30pm. It will travel through Dupont Circle and 17th Street and end in the Logan Circle neighborhood of northwest Washington, DC. Please click here for a map of the parade route.
Parade registration is expected to sell out before May 31. Due to municipal requirements, the parade may have no more then 200 contingents.

Parade Orientation: (Tuesday, June 4 at 6:30pm)
All parade registrants are required to attend the mandatory parade orientation, on June 4th at 6:30pm. The meeting will be held at the Renaissance Dupont Hotel on New Hampshire Avenue (please note, this is NOT the Renaissance on 9th Street). At least one member of each contingent is required to attend.
Your location will not be finalized until just before the orientation. On the day of the parade, contingents may begin lining up in their designated zones as early as 1pm, however, you will receive your exact set-up time and location at the parade orientation.
Parade Floats & Decor:
Victory Corps is proud to be the official float decorator of Capital Pride. You can order supplies and get ideas by visiting the their website at www.victorycorps.com. Our sponsors support us, please support them and tell them Capital Pride sent you. Parade Trailer Rental:
Capital Pride in NO WAY can endorse the following drivers/companies. It is up to the registrant to create an auction and select a bid if using uShip; or to reach out to one of the companies below. Be sure to ask questions of the driver and ensure they will be comfortable in a gay pride parade and that the driver is reliable and safe. Drivers should have an excellent safety record and be able to navigate the 1.5 mile route that includes tight turns and heavy crowds.

Registrants can create an account on uShip (http://www.uship.com/) and create an auction for members to bid. The auction allows you to provide the specs you’re looking.
