Calling All LGBTA Visual Artists!

Capital Pride is now accepting submissions from all LGBTA artists in the greater DC area for the first Capital Pride Art Fair at the Capital Pride Pennsylvania Avenue Festival. The Festival Art Fair will present 12 to 14 artists showing their work in one tent in the Arts Stage Area. The artist’s space will include a wall of which you may use an 8’ section for hanging artwork. Artists, or their representative, must remain present at their space for the duration of the festival to ensure the safety of the artwork. Capital Pride will not be liable for any damaged work.

To submit art, FILL OUT THE ONLINE FORM providing price range, number of available pieces, samples of work (via JPEG or website), and contact information. The Community Art Fair will accept submissions in any medium and format, and is especially interested in including interactive artists. The fee for commercial artists is $50 for 8′ of display space; a limited number of spaces are available for non-commercial artists.  Submissions must be received no later than May 20, 2012. Artists will be notified of their acceptance by May 27.
